Myli Community Libraries (formerly West Gippsland Libraries) is sad to share the news of the passing of our former colleague, Clive Oatley (1954-2022).
Clive began his career with West Gippsland Library Service in December 1980 on the South Gippsland Mobile Library. In September 2000, he took over the role of dual Foster and South Gippsland Branch Manager. Clive worked for the library corporation for 40 years before retiring in 2020, and was very well known and respected across our community. Clive is pictured above receiving his 30 years of Service award from former board Councillor Julie Grant.
We send our condolences to Clive’s family and friends. The Myli team and patrons will always remember him with great fondness.
