The ‘Soup & Socks Donation Drive’ at Warragul Library for Baw Baw Food Relief was a tremendous success, thanks to the incredible generosity of our patrons!
Our patrons contributed to the collection of new pairs of socks for all ages and tinned and packet soups. Myli team member Kellie had the privilege of delivering these donations to the Baw Baw Food Relief and was given a special tour of their new setup by the dedicated coordinator, Jan Davidson. Jan shared valuable insights about how the food relief operates, including their collaboration with Foodbank and the various outreach options they provide. It was inspiring to witness firsthand the incredible work being done by volunteers to support those in need.
Thank you to all the community members and library patrons who donated to this cause. Your support means the world, especially during the challenging winter months when people are facing increased struggles.
Baw Baw Food Relief is located at 6/11 Pearse Street, Warragul. Opening Hours: Food Relief Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm. The Op Shop is open Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm.
