Expressions of interest are now open for English Conversation Group Volunteers at Pakenham Library. We’re looking for volunteers to spend time chatting and supporting English language development in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Gain valuable teaching and cross-cultural communication experience while positively impacting your local community.
Time Required: approx. 2 hours per week (Fridays) for minimum of 6 months, excluding School Holidays

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) at My Community Library (Myli) seeks passionate individuals committed to inclusivity and diversity. CAC members play a vital role in shaping library services to meet the diverse needs of communities, advocating for inclusive programs, and fostering community engagement.
CAC applicants should preferably reside or work within Bass Coast, Baw Baw, Cardinia, or South Gippsland Shires, possess or be eligible for a Working With Children Check (WWCC), commit to attending a minimum of two meetings annually, and not be affiliated with Myli or any Member Council. Additionally, they should demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and community empowerment, along with excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, coupled with a passion for innovation, library services, and community development.
