From 20-26 August, we will celebrate Book Week and this year’s theme, ‘Dreaming with eyes open’. Come along to StoryTime dressed as your favourite book character or in your pyjamas! We will share stories and rhymes and create a book-themed craft.
If you can’t make it to StoryTime, please feel free to visit your local library branch during Book Week to show off your costume or to tell us about a book that is special to you!
Each year since 1945 the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) has brought children and books together across Australia through CBCA Book Week. During this time schools and public libraries spend one glorious week celebrating books and Australian children’s authors and illustrators.
